At Unbound Academy, a fully virtual, tuition‑free charter school, students complete academic work rapidly using AI‑powered tools, then transition into live, facilitated workshops that build collaboration, life skills, and confidence. Your function is to ensure these sessions feel seamless, supportive, and engaging for every participant.

You serve as the operational and emotional backbone of the student experience. You'll facilitate smooth transitions, maintain group energy, support small breakout sessions, and offer encouragement or redirection when students need it. Content instruction is not your responsibility—but the integrity of the experience depends entirely on your presence.

• Facilitating live virtual workshop sessions by overseeing breakout rooms, managing pacing, and ensuring smooth group transitions
• Fostering student participation using chat engagement, verbal encouragement, personal outreach, and targeted check‑ins
• Maintaining student engagement, self‑assurance, and sense of belonging across the full learning day
• Providing logistical and behind‑the‑scenes support to lead educators to ensure session continuity
• Serving as a reliable, approachable presence within student clubs and life‑skills programming

• Delivering academic instruction or subject‑matter content
• Developing lesson plans, evaluating student work, or conducting academic assessments
• Building curriculum or facilitating workshops without oversight
• Adopting a passive or observational stance—this role demands active, sustained energy

Facilitate dynamic virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain engaged, organized, and motivated throughout every workshop session.

• Available to begin on August 1, 2026
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leadership roles
• Educational experience within U.S., Canadian, or U.K. school systems (K–16); schooling must have occurred in one of these countries
• Excellent communication abilities and confidence navigating digital tools and platforms
• Energetic, student‑centered demeanor with sharp attention to detail and transition management
• Available to work full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm U.S. Mountain Time (UTC‑7)
• Open to working in a hybrid capacity in Arizona

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
