You've mastered the challenging problems. Now apply that expertise where it matters most: with talented students who compete, qualify, and succeed. GT School serves families seeking more than strong report cards. We develop gifted learners through authentic challenges: national and international contests, publicly verifiable results, and accomplishments students carry into their futures. This position exists because our mathematics program succeeds only when students emerge from each session more capable, more confident, and prepared for competitive environments.
WhatYou Will Be Doing

- Provide individual or small‑group coaching for particular contests through mock examinations, timed exercises, and thorough analysis
- Identify weaknesses quickly and design customized growth plans aligned with each student's objectives and scheduled competitions
- Monitor student advancement using a structured mathematics development framework and modify teaching methods based on performance data
- Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials that fellow educators can deploy broadly
- Provide generic assignment assistance or grade‑focused tutoring lacking defined, quantifiable results
- Conduct conventional classroom‑format instruction limited to standard academic requirements
- Offer unplanned problem practice without structure, feedback mechanisms, or competitive preparation pathways
- Rely on duplicated or insufficiently rigorous materials failing to satisfy competitive mathematics standards
Key Responsibilities
This position exists to ensure gifted students reliably produce documented, competition‑level mathematical achievements that GT School can showcase and families can depend upon.

- Minimum 6 months of instruction, coaching, or mentorship experience with demonstrated results
- Capacity to present advanced mathematics in clear, accessible terms to gifted young students
- Comprehensive knowledge of mathematics competition structures, content areas, and preparation methods (e.g., AMC, AIME, Olympiads)
- Effective virtual instruction skills and capability to maintain student engagement through video platforms
- Availability for 5–10 hours weekly
- Dependable internet connection and professional video equipment
- Current, ongoing participation as a contestant, instructor, or competition‑oriented educational content developer
- Track record creating reusable instructional libraries, problem collections, or curricula for use by other teachers
- Student achievement examples including qualifications, rankings, medals, or other validated competition results
