Advance your career in special education with NECC's Partner Program - a collaborative model serving students with autism and related disabilities in public schools. This full-time Lead Special Educator position offers leadership opportunities, professional growth, and access to NECC's nationally recognized clinical and educational expertise.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, train and supervise a classroom team using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based instruction.
- Develop and manage IEPs and oversee individualized programming
- Mentor and coach para educators
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school leaders and families to provide quality inclusion opportunities for the learners in the classroom.
- Work closely with families and offer continuous support
- High quality weekly onsite collaboration and support from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Small classroom size (approximately 7 students, 1:1 support staff)
- Tuition reimbursement for BCBA coursework or doctoral coursework. BCBA supervision is built into daily work and weekly supervision.

- Master's degree preferred
- MA special education license (or reciprocity eligibility)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the application of the principles of ABA.
- CPR certification completion through the agency within 6 months of employment
- Prior supervisory experience
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
- Reliable transportation
