This part-time hybrid role is for an Adjunct Lecturer specializing in Gerontology. The role involves delivering engaging lectures, facilitating tutorials, designing course materials, and assessing student performance. The Adjunct Lecturer will provide support and guidance to students in their learning journey while staying updated on industry practices to bring applied knowledge to the classroom. The role is based in Singapore, with some activities allowing for remote work.
Qualifications- Proficiency in gerontology and related fields, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
- Strong teaching, public speaking, and presentation skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Curriculum design, lesson planning, and content development expertise to create impactful learning experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaborative learning and engagement with students.
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Master’s degree (or higher) in Gerontology or a related discipline.
- Experience in teaching, research, or industry practice in gerontology is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities in a hybrid work environment.
