Virtual Tutor – Teach Students in the United States (English Required)

We are hiring Virtual Tutors from around the world to teach students in the U.S. in English Language Arts (ELA) and/or Math at the Elementary, Middle, or High School level.

Tutoring is online, in small groups or 1:1, using our digital platform and curriculum guidance. Training is provided.

This role is perfect for candidates who:

• Enjoy teaching
• Speak English fluently
• Have strong math or reading/ELA knowledge
• Want flexible and remote work beginning at $8/hour USD

• English Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Comprehension)
• Math (Elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II)
• Multilingual or bilingual Spanish–English tutors are highly encouraged to apply.

• Flexible scheduling
• Most tutoring hours occur Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (U.S. Central Time)
• You choose the days and blocks you are available, and we assign sessions based on school needs.

• Tutor students virtually (1:1 or small groups of
  3)
• Follow Papaya’s lesson structure and engagement strategies
• Take attendance and complete brief session notes
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Attend required training and feedback sessions
• Demonstrate strong communication and professionalism

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Have a desktop/laptop computer and reliable internet connection.
• Proficient English (spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge of ELA and/or Math
• A laptop/desktop with webcam
• Reliable internet connection
• Headset with microphone
• Availability during school hours (8 AM–5 PM CST)
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred, but not required
• Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with students online

• 8 USD per hour
• Opportunities for additional hours based on performance and school demand
• Training included

Qualified candidates will be contacted to complete:

• A demo lesson (10–15 minutes)
• A virtual interview
