Department Overview
Greater University Tutoring Service, or GUTS, is a learning center on campus that provides students with free, on-campus tutoring and study support. GUTS provides academic tutoring in two formats: weekly small groups and drop‑in. Tutoring takes place at many locations across campus.
Invited candidates will be asked to attend a 45‑minute in‑person interview in March. The interview will consist of two parts: a traditional Q&A and a technical portion. The technical portion will give candidates an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to explain a concept in a mock tutoring setting.
