General Education High School Transition Coordinator

• Coordinate and oversee transition services for general education students
• Act as a consultant and leader for teachers in transition-related activities
• Facilitate communication between students, parents, staff, and agencies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements for maintaining files
• Prepare and conduct in-service training sessions for staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in Transition-to-Work, Secondary Technical Education, School Counselor, or Career Technical Education
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to travel for required in-person meetings and clear a background check

• Strong understanding of general education laws and transition services
• Experience in leading professional development sessions or trainings
• Familiarity with interagency linkages for education transitions
