• Deliver course content and assessments using the employer's current materials while engaging students effectively
• Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond timely to student inquiries to foster a supportive learning environment
• Perform additional duties such as coaching, tutoring, and overseeing student clinical/practicum experiences
• Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay informed on course updates and instructional standards
• Instruct in an online environment and adapt to any necessary technology changes

• Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing OR a Doctorate degree in any area with a Master’s degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical nursing practice setting as a Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of current experience
• Active unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Arizona Nurse or Multistate (RN) license
• Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification and National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Must have current experience within the last 5 years

• Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
• High level of problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs
• Ability to convey a professional image and represent the university appropriately
