Elementary Intervention Specialist

• Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student
• Write and maintain compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to achieve student goals
• Educate parents on various instructional strategies and prepare relevant documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings and proctor required assessments

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
  Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office

• Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience
• Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Special Education
• 3 or more years of classroom experience in Special Education
