Innovative Network of Knowledge will provide this role with a company provided laptop, but the employee will secure and cover the cost for the operation of this technology in the virtual landscape of his/her home office (internet, telephone, home office setup, etc.).

Special Programs Coordinator (Full‑Time)
Position SummaryThe Special Programs Coordinator will help with the planning, coordination, and compliance of specialized student programs across the district. This includes but is not limited to Special Education, Section 504, Dyslexia, English Learners {EL}, Gifted and Talented, and other state/federal programs. The coordinator helps ensure program implementation is in compliance with federal/state regulations (IDEA, Section 504, ESSA, etc.) and aligns with district policies and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Create and foster a culture of collaboration and reflective learning among colleagues within the virtual workplace.
- Help articulate the school's mission and vision so that all stakeholders have a common understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively to achieve desired results.
- Maintain compliance and supervise the implementation of the Special Education program. Follow federal and state guidelines. Provide training and implementation of programming to meet the needs of each individual special ed student.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, after parent approval, to determine student qualification for special education services.
- Ensure related services are received as prescribed by the students' IEP (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech‑Language Pathology, Audiology, Mobility and Rehab services).
- Ensure alignment between ARD and instruction in classroom.
- Ensure alignment between ARD and support services provided, and review effectiveness.
- Frequently run reports and monitor IEP software program that houses ARDs.
- Assign students to the correct standardized test.
- Make sure that all Transfer ARDs are scheduled and occur in a timely fashion according to state law.
- Obtain and use evaluative findings, including student achievement data, to examine special education program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with campus administrators and instructional staff to implement and support effective programs and student interventions.
