This position is central to the success of Project SUNRAE (Strategic Use of Nationally Registered Apprenticeships for Educators) and Project YETI (Youth Early Teaching Initiative), two statewide efforts to grow Alaska's future educators.

Based at the Anchorage campus, the specialist will coordinate student-facing logistics, including textbook distribution, petition tracking, and database management, while serving as a welcoming resource for students and families navigating university systems.

You'll bring a student-first mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort working with databases and student systems. Success in this role means balancing precision with empathy: managing complex records while supporting diverse learners through application, registration, and planning processes. Experience working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across departments will help you thrive.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year college coursework in a related field and one year relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience living and working in Alaska strongly preferred.
