Overview
The Ekhator School of Music (ESOM), founded in 1999 by Mr. Harrison Ekhator, is dedicated to enriching lives through musical education. Located at Irvington's First Presbyterian Church (FPC) in New Jersey, ESOM offers a nurturing environment where students grow their musical talents and foster a lifelong love for music. With an annual enrollment of 75-100 students, the school is supported by a dedicated Parent Coordinator and PTA, who organize fundraisers to sustain the program.
ESOM's annual December piano recital highlights the progress of its students and celebrates their hard work. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ESOM adapted to offer remote classes, ensuring the safety and continuity of music education.
