The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise.

Based on the Proclamation:
Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers (H-1B), VSU will not sponsor new H-1B petitions until further notice.

• Teach courses in Political Science, Public Administration, or Organizational Leadership.
• Post grades in a timely fashion and promptly respond to VSU emails.
• Support assessment efforts where appropriate and contribute to student success.

• Required:
  
  Master s degree in Political Science or Public Administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
• A record of mentoring students.
