Overview

MY Academy is a TK-12, tuition-free California non-classroom-based public charter school offering an alternative to the traditional education model. We utilize a virtual blended learning model that combines the flexibility of online learning with the personalized instruction of qualified teachers through face-to-face sessions. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Learning Facilitator located in the San Diego Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Learning Facilitator will manage the day-to-day educational activities of their students, facilitate virtual and in-person instruction, develop and implement personalized learning plans, track student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. The role involves fostering a supportive learning environment that adheres to MY Academy's core values.

• Strong instructional and facilitation skills
• Experience in developing and implementing learning plans, as well as tracking student progress
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in virtual learning technologies and tools
• Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and providing personalized instruction
• Ability to work independently and flexibly in a hybrid work environment
• Experience in a charter school or alternative education setting is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
