Innovative Network of Knowledge will provide this role with a company provided laptop, but the employee will secure and cover the cost for the operation of this technology in the virtual landscape of his/her home office (internet, telephone, home office setup, etc.).
Position OverviewInnovative Network of Knowledge is seeking a passionate and dedicated full‑time Spanish teacher to join our world languages department. The ideal candidate will have strong content knowledge, fluency in Spanish, and the ability to engage students through effective instruction. The teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction that supports students in acquiring listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish, in alignment with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with TEKS.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and respect for cultural diversity.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of grades and performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in school‑related activities, staff meetings, and professional development.
- Support extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and culture (e.g., Spanish Club, cultural events).
- Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the student code of conduct.
- Comply with all school policies, state laws, and district guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Spanish (EC–12 or 6–12).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish (native or near‑native fluency).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience teaching Spanish in a public school setting.
- Ability to integrate technology into instruction effectively.
