Instructional Designer

Overview

We are looking for a strategic and creative Instructional Designer to create and develop impactful learning experiences for both campus and home office employees. This role collaborates cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, engaging training solutions.

• Collaborates with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging instructional materials.
• Creates and implements training programs that can be delivered both in person and virtually.
• Develops course content, lesson plans, and training aids tailored to the needs of campus and home office employees.
• Evaluates and assesses the effectiveness of training programs and makes improvements as necessary.
• Utilizes various instructional design models and best practices to ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Works closely with the Lead Instructional Designer to align training programs with organizational goals and objectives.
• Remains current with industry trends and incorporates innovative approaches to learning and development.
• Manages and updates training materials to reflect changes in policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience:
  
  1-3 years

• Instructional Design Certification (e.g., APTD or CPTD) preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

• Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
