Online Teaching, Tutoring, Academic, Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional
You ve mastered challenging mathematics. Now apply that expertise where it matters most: preparing gifted students to compete, qualify, and succeed.
GT School serves families seeking outcomes beyond conventional academic performance. We develop gifted learners through authentic challenges: national and international mathematics competitions, publicly documented results, and accomplishments students carry into their futures. This position exists because our mathematics program delivers value only when students emerge from each session more capable, more confident, and fully prepared for competitive environments.
This is not a standard tutoring position. You will facilitate live virtual workshops designed to challenge exceptional students, provide focused contest preparation for competitions including AMC and AIME, and develop reusable curriculum materials that elevate standards across GT Anywhere and GT campus locations. If you excel at transforming raw ability into documented achievement and can communicate advanced concepts with precision, this role will suit you.
If you possess a demonstrated history of mathematical excellence and want to shape the next generation of competition winners, we invite your application.
What You Will Be Doing- Develop and facilitate 2–4 live virtual domain workshops weekly that cultivate competition-grade mathematical reasoning
- Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for targeted contest preparation through mock examinations, timed practice sessions, and comprehensive solution review
- Quickly identify skill deficiencies and develop individualized advancement plans aligned with each student s objectives and competition calendar
- Monitor student development using a structured mathematics proficiency framework and modify teaching approach based on performance data
- Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials designed for reuse by other educators throughout the organization
- Provide unfocused homework assistance or grade-focused tutoring lacking defined, measurable objectives
- Conduct conventional classroom-format instruction limited to standard curriculum boundaries
- Offer unstructured problem-solving practice without strategic planning, iterative feedback, or competitive preparation pathway
- Rely on duplicated or insufficiently rigorous content that fails to meet competitive mathematics benchmarks
