Educational Therapist​/Learning Specialist

Overview

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Educational Therapist/Learning Specialist based in Redondo Beach, CA, with opportunities to work from home for certain tasks. The therapist/specialist provides individualized educational support, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with diverse learning needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include working directly with children in one-on-one or small group settings to address learning challenges such as dyscalculia, implementing evidence-based strategies, and collaborating with families and educators to create tailored learning plans.

• Experience and knowledge in Learning Disabilities and Dyscalculia
• Background in Psychology and Education to support a variety of learners
• Skills in Working With Children, including empathy, patience, and strong communication
• Ability to create and implement individualized learning strategies
• Familiarity with evidence-based techniques for educational intervention
• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required
