Job Summary

Think Together’s Credentialed Teachers deliver required academic and enrichment activities while relieving teachers from their classroom to attend data reflection or professional development sessions, meetings, or trainings as required by the school or district. You will oversee the daily activities and structure of the program serving in a 3‑4‑person team that will work closely with 20‑25 students per team member combined.

In collaboration with the Lead Credentialed Teacher, you will develop benchmarks, agendas, and trainings to ensure all customers’ needs are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and enrichment activities and/or content to meet minimum education minute/time requirement as indicated by the California Department of Education.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Program Leaders (non‑credentialed teachers).
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate activities that reinforce physical education and give students additional practice time.
  • Work in cooperation with Program Leaders to ensure a positive student experience.
  • Complete, record and manage attendance, assessment and other records as needed.
  • Work with the program supervisor and Lead Credentialed Teacher to ensure contract compliances and deliverables are met.
  • Communicate with school administrators and staff on a regular basis regarding program activities.
  • Supervise, train, and develop subordinates in line with organizational objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Attend meetings to support continuous improvement of the program.
  • Manage other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and management matters.
  • Instruct students in grades TK‑6th, create lesson plans, differentiate instruction, and evaluate assessment data regularly.
  • Implement teaching methods to increase development of cognitive, emotional and physical abilities while building fun and educational habits.
  • Communicate with parents regularly to maintain emotional and physical stability and growth.
  • Collaborate with other teachers in class discussions or parent‑teacher conferences.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Develop an appropriate curriculum based on the child's abilities and background information.
Qualifications and Education
  • Valid and clear teaching credential issued by the State of California allowing substitute instruction of multiple subjects in an elementary school setting.
  • Approval of school district that credential meets local requirements.
  • Currently an employee of the school district or clear DOJ and FBI fingerprints through Think Together and proof of negative TB test.
  • CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (30‑day emergency credential accepted).
  • CBEST, CSET, RICA passed test results preferred (in‑progress accepted).
  • 0‑2 years of proven experience in the education industry.
