Husson University is seeking dynamic individuals to develop and teach online courses in Medical Anthropology. Online course developers and instructors are content experts who focus on providing an elite educational experience for learners to improve their skill level and knowledge. Course developers work closely with instructional designers and leadership to define expectations throughout the course build process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach online courses in Medical Anthropology, and collaborate with instructional designers and leadership to define expectations throughout the course build process.
  • Serve as a content expert to provide an elite educational experience for learners to improve their skill level and knowledge.
Topics and courses
  • SY 230 Medical Anthropology:
    This course examines the field of health, medicine, and healthcare through an anthropological lens. Students will learn a new way of thinking about and understanding the healthcare institutions they engage with as patients and practitioners.
Qualifications
  • Earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field required; doctoral degree preferred.
  • Prior online course design experience in higher education preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate subject matter to others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education.
Compensation

Online course development proposal or development fees range from $500.00 to $3,000.00 depending upon the complexity of the assignment.
