A company is looking for a University Seminar Remote Professor (Part-Time).
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate virtual new student orientation activities to ensure a smooth transition into the academic environment
- Engage students using an online LMS to develop study skills and promote academic success
- Monitor student progress and refer them to academic resources as needed, while conducting virtual office hours
- A Master’s Degree in Education, Adult Education, College Counseling, or a closely related field is required
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an online / virtual environment is required
- Experience mentoring adult learners and first-year college students is encouraged
- Nurses must hold an RN license in the state of Illinois
- Experience with Canvas LMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office products is preferred
