Conestoga Public Schools is looking for a full-time School Psychologist to provide services and support for the 2025-26 school year, 4 days per week. The district operates on a four-day week and is located 20 minutes south of Omaha and 45 minutes west of Lincoln. Competitive benefits package includes employer-paid health and dental. • Ed. Specialist in School Psychology
• Nebraska Teaching Certificate
• No history of child abuse or negligence
• Successfully pass required background checks
• Regular and dependable in-person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment. The assigned duties of this position may allow consideration of occasional/infrequent remote work with the approval of the supervisor. Remote work is subject to the remote work guidelines and conditions outlined in the job description. The supervisor may withdraw the remote work option at any time.

• Responsible for psycho-educational evaluations and counseling of students
• Facilitate problem solving through a multi-tiered system of support at district, building, and individual student levels, including Student Assistance Team referrals
• Administer appropriate individual psychological evaluations and interpret the data
• Prepare complete diagnostic reports describing the child, interpreting evaluation results, and suggesting recommendations for further action
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine if a child exhibits a disability in accordance with Nebraska Rule 51 and Rule 52 criteria
• Advocate for the child and influence placement and program decisions in the best interest of the child
• Communicate with parents, personnel and administration about the learning and/or behavior of students
• Provide counseling and/or behavior modification programs within the district for students verified as behaviorally disordered
• Consult with district personnel on current topics such as learning styles, classroom management, and response to intervention
• Seek out and participate in appropriate staff development to maintain and improve professional skills
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, administrators, teachers, colleagues, and the community
• Regularly access email for materials from ESU #3 and partnering districts
• Provide own transportation to fulfill responsibilities, if a work vehicle is not available
• Arrive at the scheduled start time and work through the day, with flexibility as needed
• Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Policies and Employee Handbook
• Other duties as assigned
