Our client is seeking passionate and dedicated Online Tutors specializing in Mathematics for students in Grade 7-12. This is a flexible, hybrid role offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of the secondary school mathematics curriculum, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
You will conduct one‑on‑one and small group tutoring sessions, develop personalized learning plans, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in Mathematics for Grade 7-12 students.
- Assess students' learning needs and create tailored tutoring plans.
- Explain mathematical concepts, theories, and formulas clearly and concisely.
- Assist students with homework, assignments, and test preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies and online tools to enhance learning.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring Mathematics at the secondary school level.
- Deep understanding of the CAPS curriculum for Grades 7-12 Mathematics.
- Excellent pedagogical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in using online tutoring platforms and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote sessions.
