The Student Services Manager is a key leader of the college's Outreach and Recruitment team, responsible for planning, implementing, and managing comprehensive student services and recruitment initiatives. This role oversees all efforts to engage prospective students from initial contact through enrollment and onboarding. This role supports the college s Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) goals. The manager leads and supervises staff including recruiting, onboarding, evaluating, and supervising the recruitment staff as well as the navigators and call center.
The manager ensures excellent customer service, communication strategies, and recruitment programs. Responsibilities include CRM systems management, data-driven outreach, reporting to support enrollment growth and student success, campus tours, onboarding events, and community outreach. The position also represents the college at major events and participates in strategic planning and committee work to advance institutional goals. A physical presence on campus is required with possible partial remote work depending on business needs.
Functions
Bachelor s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience including administration of policies and procedures, program oversight and two years is supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of degree and directly related full-time work experience.

Experience with SEM collaboration across cross-functional teams

Experience with a CRM or recruitment/retention system
E. Experience managing a department with direct supervision
F. Experience developing recruitment/retention plans in a community college setting
G.
Experience with call centers and campaigns
H. MCCCD experience within the previous two years
- Travel to campus during the interview/selection process at candidate s expense.
- May be required to travel to other MCCCD locations.
- Evenings and weekends may be required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- May lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Physical presence on campus with possible partial remote work depending on business needs.
