Overview
Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Hayward for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full-time Aide who can work as a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist our children's development.

HoursHours are Monday - Friday, 32 to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Support preschool activities and create a fun learning environment that supports development for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders.
- Assist staff in daily routines and classroom needs to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive setting.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
- CPR certification.
- A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can be enrolled or are after starting enrollment.
- Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos.
- Experience working with special needs children (preferred).
- Bilingual preferred (but not required).
