Students complete their academic requirements in just two highly focused morning hours using an AI-driven learning platform. The afternoons are reserved for what matters most: immersive workshops that build real-world competencies and help students expand their sense of what's achievable.

Instead of teaching conventional lessons, you'll serve as the mentor every learner needs—someone who encourages them each day and guides them through engaging, skill-building workshops that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating dynamic virtual workshops focused on developing life skills such as collaboration, effective communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative self-expression
• Guiding students through immersion tracks using project-based, experiential learning methods
• Building a supportive, high-energy virtual environment where students are encouraged to take risks and develop personally
• Leveraging learning analytics and student insights to personalize motivation and guidance for each individual
• Partnering with a diverse team of educators across multiple time zones to deliver a responsive, flexible educational experience

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering instruction in core academic subjects (our AI tutors manage that)
• Adhering to a fixed timetable or standardized teaching approach
• Running lecture-driven, one-way learning sessions

Virtual Learning Coach Key Responsibilities

Empower students globally to develop into confident, capable problem-solvers by facilitating immersive life-skills workshops within a virtual-first, flexible educational setting.

Basic Requirements

• Valid US teaching certificate from any state
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred)
• Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video
• Available to work full-time (M–F, 8am–5pm Arizona time)
• Ready to begin within 2-3 weeks
• Excited to work in a tech-forward, student-centered school

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Spanish fluency (highly valued for our immersion track)
• Experience leading bilingual workshops, clubs, or enrichment programs
• Background in project-based learning, creative education, or alternative schools

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
