• Deliver specific course content in an online environment while focusing on students’ individual needs as defined by their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other required special education documentation
• Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure students receive appropriate therapies
• Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings, including annual IEP meetings
• Monitor student progress towards IEP goals and provide rich and engaging learning experiences

• Bachelor's degree and an active State Special Education teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and use student data for instructional decisions

• Experience working with the proposed age group
• Experience teaching online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
• Familiarity with online learning platforms
• Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
