Overview

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Hayward for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full-time Aide who can work as part of a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that support our children's development.

• Experience working with special needs children
• Bilingual preferred (but not required)

• 1 year minimum experience working with children aged 0-5 years old.
• CPR
• A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units is preferred, but enrollment can also be started after completing the required units.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos

We offer letters of recommendation for continuing education. We are also accepting applicants for volunteering, which can lead to employment if you prove to be qualified.

Work Location: Multiple Locations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
