The Department of Accounting at the University of Central Arkansas (201 Donaghey Ave., Conway, AR 72035) is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, financial and managerial accounting and related courses.
- Engage and maintain an active research program leading to peer-reviewed publications.
- Mentor students and provide service to the department, college, university, and academic community.
- Evaluate and grade student work, assignments, and papers.
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Travel:
Domestic travel to attend conferences and conduct research, up to three times per year, for up to three nights per trip.
Education and Experience
Doctorate (PhD) in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance;
Accounting;
Accountancy;
Finance; or a closely related field.

License(s)/Certifications (Required or Preferred)No specific licenses or certifications required, though relevant credentials are an advantage.
