Job Summary: The Admissions Counselor Northeast is a fully remote position based in the Northeast region. The role includes representing the University at college fair programs and conferences, managing a recruitment service area, counseling prospective students and families, planning and directing special events, interacting with university departments, and collaborating with alumni clubs nationwide. The position involves extensive travel to high schools and events with weekend obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and counsel prospective students in the Northeast region.
- Represent the University at college fairs, career events, and professional conferences.
- Plan, organize, and direct special events on and off campus.
- Maintain contact and communication with prospective students, families, and alumni clubs.
- Collaborate with internal university departments to support student success and admissions goals.
- Conduct other office responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- BA degree (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
