Online Tutor/Teacher | $25-70hr | Flexible Hours

At Tutor Corps and Pacific Preparatory, we believe in the power of 1:1 education in order to support students holistically and inspire a love of learning, confidence, and self-advocacy. Our organization comprises three branches: our accredited homeschool Pacific Preparatory, our after-school tutoring program Tutor Corps, and our nonprofit scholarship program through the Tutor Corps Foundation. We strive to inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities and provide exceptional instruction in all K-12 subjects.

• We’re looking for thoughtful, dedicated tutors and teachers who value creating meaningful relationships with their students. We take a holistic approach to our work, prioritizing social-emotional learning alongside academic achievement.
• Instructors who work with us have a minimum of one year of instructional experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, have superb written and verbal communication skills, and can confidently use Zoom and online teaching tools. Teaching credentials are a bonus but not required. Experience working with students who have learning differences is an added benefit.
• Get paired with students who are the exact right fit for you via our handpicked matching process. Collaborate with our team and other teaching professionals to get new tips and ideas for effective teaching and mentorship. Work with a diverse student population, which includes private clients, scholarship recipients, and school district partnership students who receive tutoring at no cost to their family.

• Work 5-25 hours/week, according to your availability and subject-expertise
• Supplement your income or take on more clients to fill out a robust part-time schedule
• We simplify the process and get you paid quickly so you can focus on teaching
• Some longstanding tutors can earn $3k+ per month, and all instructors receive regular raises for exceptional performance
