A forward‑thinking online education platform is seeking a creative and experienced Remote Online Course Developer to design and build engaging and effective digital learning experiences. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your instructional design expertise to create high‑quality educational content accessible to learners worldwide. You will be responsible for all aspects of course development, from curriculum design and content creation to multimedia integration and assessment development.

The ideal candidate is passionate about education, adept at using learning management systems (LMS), and skilled in producing compelling digital materials. Collaboration with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists will be key to developing impactful courses. You will play a vital role in expanding the platform's educational offerings and enhancing the learner experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing comprehensive online courses aligned with learning objectives and industry standards.
  • Creating engaging instructional content, including text, graphics, videos, interactive elements, and quizzes.
  • Utilizing instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy) to structure and develop course materials.
  • Implementing courses in a Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring functionality and user‑friendliness.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into effective learning modules.
  • Developing formative and summative assessments to measure learner comprehension and progress.
  • Ensuring all course materials are accessible and adhere to universal design for learning (UDL) principles.
  • Providing feedback and revision suggestions for course content and delivery.
  • Staying current with trends and best practices in online education and instructional design.
  • Managing multiple course development projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
Qualifications and Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in online course development and instructional design. Proven experience with major LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) is essential. Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and curriculum development is a must.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities are required. This role is 100% remote.
