2 Hour Learning has developed a model enabling students to learn at twice the speed in only two hours daily. AI-driven tutoring, mastery progression, and a fundamental shift away from traditional classroom design underpin these results. Performance is outstanding. We now need a leader to consolidate execution across varied school structures, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in disciplined learning science.
This role is not theoretical. It's an operational mandate. You will direct academic strategy in action, establish rigorous benchmarks, uncover implementation shortfalls, and mentor high-performing teams toward measurable impact. You'll convert our scientific underpinnings into operational rigor and champion this model to external audiences.
What You Will Be Doing- Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science principles into actionable direction for curriculum development, engagement systems, and application architecture.
- Conducting academic performance reviews with Heads of Academics to maintain alignment, accountability, and consistent delivery.
- Analyzing data, interviews, and direct observation to produce academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most critical obstacles to faster learning and recommend concrete responses.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and progress monitoring to sustain focus on student achievement.
- Serving as 2 Hour Learning's senior representative, from conference keynotes to ministerial discussions, to influence global perspectives on education reform.
- Working on narrow curriculum initiatives that fail to generate organization-wide impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from measurable student progress or operational reality.
- Transferring accountability for outcomes to mid-level managers or external advisors.
- Depending on institutional credibility or conceptual arguments to win over critical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by harmonizing execution across school sites, raising leadership expectations, and establishing yourself as the authoritative spokesperson for a movement built on evidence-based science and demonstrable outcomes.
Basic Requirements- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
- 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes
- Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning
- Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising
- Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar
- Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions
- Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders
- Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture
- Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts
- Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks
