Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH), Nevada. Contract Length: 30 weeks. Compensation:

- Delivering specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in an online setting
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilizing American Sign Language (ASL), cued speech, and/or oral communication strategies as appropriate
- Collaborating with general education teachers, speech‑language pathologists, audiologists, and other support staff
- Monitoring and documenting student progress toward academic and communication goals
- Supporting families and caregivers through virtual consultations and training
- Providing access to learning via technology and accessibility tools
- Staying current on best practices in Deaf education and remote learning
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Valid Teaching Certification with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Active teaching licensure or ability to become licensed in Nevada
- Proficiency in ASL strongly preferred
- Experience with virtual instruction or teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with hearing assistive technology, FM systems, and captioning tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated teaching space for virtual sessions
- Weekly compensation up to $60/hr (based on experience)
