• Oversee compliance with state and federal disability discrimination laws, including Section 504 and ADA
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures surrounding Section 504
• Coordinate eligibility determinations, evaluations, and meetings for students covered under Section 504
• Provide training and support to staff regarding Section 504 policies and procedures
• Investigate complaints and coordinate resolution for violations related to Section 504/ADA

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in the field of education
• Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate
• ESE Certification
• Minimum of three years’ experience with current laws related to disability in public schools
• Minimum of three years’ experience with Section 504 in a school setting, including writing and implementing 504 plans

• Experience in developing training materials or resources related to Section 504
• Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, and Internet Explorer
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
