Since 1991, My Virtual Academy has been transforming education across Michigan — 100% virtually. We serve K–12 students with flexible, tuition‑free, tech‑supported programs that help every child learn in a way that works for them.

• Lead weekly Zoom sessions with students (and count them toward your contact goals!)
• Build strong relationships with students & families
• Support students’ learning journeys with Exact Path, Edmentum & more
• Grade work and track student progress across platforms
• Host fun monthly virtual lunches and field trips
• Collaborate with a passionate team of remote educators

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate (or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire)
• Virtual teaching experience and confidence with Zoom, Exact Path, and Edmentum
• Strong organization and communication chops
• A passion for creating joy in learning (even from a distance)

• 90%+ contact rate maintained weekly
• Accurate, timely documentation in the Genius system
• Students complete 90%+ of assigned work monthly
• Participation in team meetings, PD, and collaboration initiatives
• Strong communication with parents/guardians

• 8:30 AM – Morning check‑ins with students via Zoom
• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Virtual learning lab
• 12:00 PM – Contact attempts and student goal setting
• 1:30 PM – Collaboration time
• 2:30 PM – Documenting notes and prepping for tomorrow

We’ll provide a laptop and monitor. You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.

Starting pay: $23.72/hour with Michigan certification
