Be The Light Consulting LLC provides personalized coaching and consulting services to empower students, graduates, and professionals in achieving their educational and career aspirations. Our offerings include career coaching and job search services, admissions consulting for K-12 and college, as well as tutoring and academic support. With a reputation for excellence in education and career transitions, our team brings extensive experience in mentorship, corporate recruiting, and specialized support for diverse learners.

We are dedicated to fostering growth, especially for historically underrepresented groups, and are expanding our team to include top professionals across various fields.

This is a part-time hybrid role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, with an opportunity to work from home for certain clients. The Academic Consultant will provide one-on-one coaching and academic support to students and professionals and develop/ implement personalized learning plans. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members to design tailored services, providing mentorship, and managing client relationships while supporting the overall mission of Be The Light Consulting LLC.

A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education, counseling, STEM or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful client relationships.
• Experience in Consulting and Coaching, with a focus on academic guidance and career development programs.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled at time management to handle a variety of clients and tasks effectively.
• Experience working with students and professionals from diverse backgrounds, including marginalized communities.
