At My Virtual Academy, we’re looking for a High School Guide to help students take control of their learning and stay on the path to graduation — all online.

🏫 About Us Since 1991, we’ve empowered students across Michigan to earn their diplomas through personalized virtual learning. Our team supports each student holistically with flexibility, tools, and mentorship.

• Maintain weekly communication with each assigned student
• Guide students through progress in Edmentum and troubleshoot tech issues
• Document all contacts and notes in the Genius system
• Communicate weekly with parents of minors
• Set academic goals with students and celebrate their wins
• Join staff meetings, PD, and weekly 1:1s with the lead teacher.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching certificate (preferred)
• Experience in virtual teaching or mentoring
• Friendly, organized, tech-savvy, and proactive communicator

• High student engagement and goal completion
• Active participation in meetings and trainings

We’ll send you a laptop and monitor. You’ll need a solid internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace.

• Starting pay: $19.14/hour with a bachelor’s degree. $23.72 with active teaching certification.
