Job DescriptionFitchburg State University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Curriculum and Teaching online accelerated programs. Opportunities for teaching in up to six terms per year, with competitive salaries available for qualified candidates.
Curriculum and Teaching (non-licensure)The Curriculum and Teaching is a non-licensure degree program designed for individuals who wish to pursue advanced levels of reflection, knowledge, skill and professionalism in the field of education.
RequirementsApplicants for adjunct positions to teach online/accelerated programs should have strong experience teaching at the college level, experience teaching in a totally online environment, and should be prepared to lead engaging and interactive online courses in a 7-week accelerated model.
- Master's Degree in area of study required (terminal degree preferred).
- Three years teaching experience at the college level preferred.
- Strong educational technology experience and skills required.
- A commitment to student success and acommitment to online learning in a diverse community.
If selected and maintained in pool to teach, a pre-hire packet will need to be completed.
