MGSA – Department of Arts Online – Co‑adjutant Spring 2026 – Teaching

Position:
Co‑adjutant – teaching online mini‑courses in Dance, Filmmaking, Interdisciplinary, Music, Theater, or Visual Art & Design for less than a full semester during an academic year. The position is temporary and not a regularly appointed employee.

Overview

Mason Gross School of the Arts (MGSA) is part of Rutgers–New Brunswick, a premier Big Ten research university. MGSA serves a diverse student body and offers professional arts training programs. Through Rutgers Arts Online, MGSA delivers online courses to the broader community.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver online mini‑courses in any of the specified art disciplines, ensuring engaging instruction and student assessment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience teaching an online or hybrid course is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with online learning platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching mini‑courses or certificate programs.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design for online learning.
Salary & Benefits

Salary: $3,200 per course.
