Faculty Manager

* 5 years higher education online teaching experience
* 3 years of management experience
* Experience managing a team in a remote environment preferred
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to communicate in an online environment
* Effective interpersonal skills, academic reasoning, and problem-solving abilities

* Maintain close attention to detail and produce work in a timely fashion
* Proficient in MS Office with experience with a learning management system such as Bb, Canvas, etc.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Skills:

Able to read, analyze, and interpret common journals and legal documents. Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Able to effectively present information to executive management, faculty, staff, and/or students.
* Mathematical Skill:
Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
* Reasoning Ability:
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to present facts to faculty for departmental response. Able to deal with a variety of information presented in oral or written formats. Able to deal with non-verbal behavior in assisting with problem resolution.

The University was founded in 1951 as Grantham Radio License School – a private, postsecondary, degree-granting distance education institution established by World War II veteran Donald Grantham, who understood how the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, known as the G.I. Bill, and its educational benefits, could transform the lives of returning servicemen and women and their  the decades that followed the university received institutional and programmatic accreditations, expanded to locations across the country, and grew its program offerings.  

In 2000 the university transitioned to delivering programs exclusively online; in 2021 the University joined the University of Arkansas System and officially became the University of Arkansas Grantham.
