MSW Online Social Work Program Field Coordinator & Assistant Instructor

Position Description

The University of South Florida, School of Social Work invites applications for the MSW Online Social Work Program Field Coordinator & Assistant Instructor (Finance) position. The role requires recruitment of new community partners, continued engagement with current partners, and coordination of the student field placement process in partnership with the Director of Field Education. The position also involves providing instruction in the Online MSW program and contributing to service needs in the School, including admissions processes, advising, and other duties.

This is a 12‑month appointment subject to annual evaluations. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Promotional opportunities are provided in accordance with the University of South Florida – Tampa Career Path for Instructors.

• MSW from a CSWE accredited School of Social Work.
• Two years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time post‑graduate social work practice experience.
• Teaching experience in social work higher education.

• Administrative experience in social work education and/or leadership in a human service agency.
• Experience in field education, including creating and developing community partnerships, coordinating student placements, and providing oversight throughout the placement process.
• Online teaching experience in social work education.
• Ability to problem‑solve and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with competency‑based standards.
• Supervisory experience with students or staff.
• Social work state licensure in any state (Florida preferred).
