Admissions Manager

Opportunity

University of the Arts London is looking for an Admissions Manager to join the team on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis for 24 months. The role is part of UAL’s Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions (SMRA) department and focuses on delivering a first‑class prospective student experience from application to enrolment.

The post‑holder will manage the Pre‑Degree team and oversee the university‑wide professional Home, EU and International admissions function for Pre‑Degree and Undergraduate applicants. Key duties include:

• Ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement of admissions processes, systems and communications.
• Supporting academic decision makers throughout recruitment and admissions processes.
• Building extensive, close working relationships with university staff and external stakeholders to develop service expectations and operating models across SMRA.
• Managing the full applicant life cycle from application through offer, conversion and enrolment.

• First degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in admissions within Higher or Further Education in a large, complex organisation, with knowledge of UCAS processes and Home Office and fee assessment regulations.
• Operational task leader with clear standards, objectives and performance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge sharing, training and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle demanding situations or confidential matters according to policy.
• Independent work planner with ability to prioritise and organise work to meet short‑ and long‑term objectives on time.
