Job Summary

Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is seeking a full‑time Student Services Analyst to coordinate, evaluate, and enhance the high‑school outreach and college enrollment program. The role focuses on Early College, Dual/Concurrent, ACE, and career‑planning programs, and requires building relationships with students, parents, high‑school personnel, community organizations, and SCC faculty.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates and implements a college recruitment and enrollment program.
  • Builds connections with high school students, parents, and high school personnel to increase SCC enrollment.
  • Delivers educational planning in small and large group settings.
  • Provides information to high school students regarding academic degree and certificate programs.
  • Coordinates early career and educational planning and the selection and registration of dual/concurrent courses.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with SCC faculty and staff, Early College programs, Dual/Concurrent Program, ACE Program, JR ACE program, and student affairs managers.
  • Explains program options and assists applicants in selecting appropriate pathways.
  • Provides career planning, first‑year college advising, admission and enrollment assistance, and financial aid guidance.
  • Maintains knowledge of transfer pathways and MCCCD policies.
  • Collects and interprets data to make informed program decisions and generate progress‑to‑goal reports.
  • Collaborates with other student services and community agencies, participates in outreach and retention initiatives, and performs other duties as assigned.
Supervision Exercised / Received

May serve as a lead worker assigning and monitoring the work of others or may supervise non‑exempt level staff. Receives general supervision and is expected to prioritize work, keep supervisors informed, and manage deadlines and policy compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) full‑time equivalent years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. Alternative equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher earned degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience coordinating and implementing student success or retention‑based workshops.
  • Experience in at least one student services functional area such as recruitment, advisement, student life, testing, Dual Enrollment, ACE or financial aid.
  • Experience planning and coordinating events.
  • Experience with an online student information system.
  • One (1) year of full‑time, relevant MCCCD experience within the previous two years.
Special Working Conditions
  • Travel to campus during the interview/selection process will be at the candidate's own expense.
  • May be required to travel to other MCCCD locations, local high schools, middle schools, charter and private schools.
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends.
  • May require prolonged periods of sitting and viewing a computer screen.
  • May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
  • May work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and environmental conditions.
  • This position requires a physical presence on campus with possible partial remote work depending on business needs.
