JOB SUMMARY:
The Online Program Coordinator assists the Associate Vice President for the Global Campus in coordinating the scheduling and communication for Boyce College Online, Southern Seminary Online, and Hispanic Online courses, in conjunction with the School of Theology, the Billy Graham School, and Boyce College. This role also supports the AVP with faculty and adjunct communication related to scheduling and other administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Serve as the first point of contact and primary liaison for all online faculty, adjuncts, and teaching assistants.
- Direct faculty to the appropriate person or resource for assistance.
- Assist the AVP with all aspects of course scheduling.
- Track and analyze course enrollments and teaching loads.
- Communicate with the administration of Boyce College, the Billy Graham School, and the School of Theology regarding course scheduling.
- Assist in calculating payments for faculty, adjuncts, and teaching assistants.
- Conduct regular reviews of various aspects of the online program.
- Collaborate with and demonstrate a willingness to learn from other online learning staff.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Learn how to use select software (training and guidance will be provided).
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- The person in this position should be at minimum a current undergraduate student
- Experience with administration or administrative work is a plus but not required
The person in this position will supervise no one.
The person in this position will report to: the Associate Vice President of Global Campus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:The person in this position will work in a traditional office environment.
EQUIPMENT:The person in this position will use the following equipment:
Microsoft suite, Canvas, and other applicable programs.
