Incumbent will be required to complete work for CDE within Colorado. This role is term limited, and grant funding is due to expire on or before June 30, 2028.

As the administrative arm of the State Board of Education, CDE is responsible for implementing state and federal education laws, disbursing state and federal funds, holding schools and districts accountable for performance, licensing all educators, and providing public transparency of performance and financial data.

This position is full-time, and is hybrid (remote/home office with requirement to report to work location per business needs, usually a minimum of one day per week).

This position will work within the Student Pathways & Engagement Unit, Dropout Prevention and Student Re-Engagement (DPSR) Office. This individual will play a key role in helping meet the office’s goals to improve student engagement and the state’s graduation, completion, and dropout rates, and implement key aspects of the student engagement priority within Colorado Department of Education's (CDE’s) strategic plan.
