The University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan campus is hiring a permanent Testing Center Specialist. This position is essential in meeting the needs of individuals requiring placement testing, academic testing, and professional testing.

To thrive in this position, you will have the ability to understand and work with an academically, ethnically, and financially diverse student body. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, administrative skills, and the ability to solve

Situple independently are important. A high level of organizational skills, including fluency with technology, electronic record-keeping, knowledge of advanced computer programs, and troubleshooting, is essential.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree and two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Position Details

This position is located on the Ketchikan campus in University of Alaska Southeast. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.

New hires will be placed on UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
