True Training is seeking experienced French as a second language (FSL) Teachers to teach adults working in the government.
Part‑time & Full‑time opportunities | Courses are held between 8:00 AM ET and 5:00 PM ET. To qualify you must be available to teach a minimum of 15 hours per week within these times.

Responsibilities- Delivering Language Instruction: Conducting online classes in French, tailored to the proficiency levels of government employees.
- Curriculum Alignment: Utilizing your own learning materials while aligning with the Programme de français langue seconde (PFL2) and the standards set by the Canada School of Public Service (CSPS).
- Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assessing student progress through exercises, assignments, and formal evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Effectively managing the classroom environment to ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere. Developing lesson plans.
- Progress Reporting: Preparing and submitting reports on student attendance, participation, and progress.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French and English, with a strong command of language structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Strong ability to teach language concepts clearly and effectively, adapting to various learning styles and proficiency levels. - Technical

Proficiency in using online teaching platforms, preferably Microsoft Teams, and various digital teaching tools. - Interpersonal

Ability to build rapport with adult learners, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. - Innovative Teaching Methods: Employing creative and innovative teaching methods to make language learning more engaging and effective for adult learners.
- Organizational
Skills:
Capability to manage class schedules, prepare lesson plans, and maintain accurate records.
- Preferably experience teaching federal employees; otherwise must be open to learning.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
