The Undergraduate Program in the Wisconsin School of Business is home to a thriving learning community where students gain lifelong friends, develop skills for their dream careers, and position themselves to excel in an ever-evolving business غزة. The Undergraduate Program serves upwards of 5,000 students across 12 different business majors, our pre‑business population, and certificate programs. The Academic Advising Office includes both pre‑business and admitted advisors;

Job Duties
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a welcoming environment to all guests of the Advising Center
- Meet one‑on‑one with pre‑business and admitted students during Cursor drop‑in hours to discuss general questions about academics, careers, course selection, study abroad planning, accessing and utilizing resources
- Document student contacts in a confidential and professional manner
- Develop extensive knowledge of the pre‑business and undergraduate program curriculum and all undergraduate program advising center resources and services
- Help front‑desk staff triage students seeking advising to determine the most appropriate referral
- Fulfill general office responsibilities including project work, making copies, maintaining supplies, straightening office space
- Assist staff in preparing for and facilitating large group advising/information sessions, which could include large group academic or career advising and prospective student information sessions Assist in the development of pre‑business resources for students and advisors
