Position: Adjunct Faculty, Applied Behavior Analysis Program CSOE (Remote Teaching Position)

Position Summary

The Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an 18‑month program designed for working adults. The program mission is to prepare students to be professionally competent, compassionate, ethical practitioners of applied behavior analysis who work with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Adjunct faculty are scholars and professionals who teach in their area of specialization;

they are not primarily affiliated with the university.

      Behavioral Skill Assessments & Evidence‑Based Instruction

      Description:

      Introduces common behavior analytic skill assessments and instructional strategies for individuals with disabilities. Students learn to assess strengths and needs, and deliver evidence‑based instructional strategies to develop communication, adaptive, academic, leisure, social, and vocational skills.

      Functional Behavior Assessments & Interventions for Safety‑Related Behaviors

      Description:

      Covers functional behavior assessment and intervention strategies to reduce safety‑related behaviors (e.g., aggression, self‑harm, elopement) and increase positive behavioral repertoires. Students gain competence in selecting, applying, and recommending functionally equivalent interventions across settings.

      Description:

Starting Pay

$39 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, ABA, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a school psychologist; educational psychologist through the BBS (LEP) is preferred.
  • Appropriate experience in the areas of specialization and expertise.
